The Minadeo Extended Day Program (MEDP), is a non-profit 501c3, before & after school program conveniently located inside of the John Minadeo Elementary School in Squirrel Hill, PA. We are a fully insured, state licensed day care. CPR & First Aid certified. Est. 1986
About Us
Here at the Minadeo Extended Day Program, we are committed and strive to make the world a better place one child at a time. We are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the parents and children of Minadeo school. We operate on days school is in session. Some of the things we offer at MEDP are daily breakfast and snacks, homework help, indoor and outdoor activities, crafts, and dance.
We have dedicated over 30 years to the families at Minadeo. MEDP opened it's doors in 1986 as a solution to latch key children. All staff members have all clearances, meet minimum state requirements, and are certified in CPR and first aid. State subsidies through ELRC are accepted.
All donations go directly to the children for special activities such as dance, field trips such as the science center or pgh zoo coming to us.
Registration Info
Admissions shall be made without regards to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin, age or sex.
-We accept all children in preschool through 5th grade as long as they attend John Minadeo School. We do not provide transportation.
-All spots are filled on a first come first serve basis. Spots are limited and not guaranteed.
-Registrations must be confirmed by the Director and the registration fee must be received.
-Tuition is based on 182 school days and broken down into 10 monthly payments.
-Credit Cards and State Subsidies (ELRC) accepted
